Studi Meta Analisis: Exposure Therapy Kurang Efektif Untuk Mengatasi Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji literatur tentang efektivitas dari terapi exposure untuk mengatasi Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Metode yang digunakan adalah mengkaji sembilan literatur yang semuanya adalah berasal dari literatur internasional dan menggunakan metode Meta-analisis untuk menganalisis keefektifan terapi exposure untuk mengatasi PTSD, Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terapi exposure efektif untuk mengatasi PTSD. Skor effect size dari random effect 0.153 (95% CI -0.342 to 0.648, p = 0.544) dan I² (inkonsistensi) 90.18%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terapi exposure tidak efektif untuk mengatasi PTSD. Hal ini dikarenakan banyaknya variasi dari terapi exposure. Selain itu, terdapat variasi dari kriteria subjek dan usia partisipan dalam setiap penelitian.
