Makna Cooperative Parenting Pada Orang Tua Yang Memiliki Anak Dengan Permasalahan Perkembangan: Studi Fenomenologi
Abstract
Dalam penelitian ini peneliti ingin mengkaji bagaimana orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan permasalahan perkembangan memaknai cooperative parenting dan melihat lebih jauh bagaimana orang tua menerapkannya. Peneliti melibatkan empat orang responden atau dua pasang orang tua. Masing-masing kondisi anak dari kedua pasang responden adalah anak dengan permasalahan perkembangan bahasa dan bicara, dan juga anak dengan kondisi down syndrome. Adapaun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif fenomenologi serta dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif fenomenologis. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dan penggalian data menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur secara langsung. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menemukan enam tema utama strategi yang khas yang dilakukan orang tua untuk bekerja sama dalam mengasuh anak dan menjawab tantangan dalam dinamika perkembangan anak yaitu: tantangan perkembangan anak, peran dan kolaborasi orang tua, komunikasi dan pemahaman antara pasangan, pendekatan dalam pengasuhan anak, mengatasi perilaku negatif anak, dan interaksi dan perhatian kepada anak. Kerja sama yang kuat antara orang tua dapat memberikan dukungan yang kokoh bagi perkembangan anak dan membantu mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi.
