Pengaruh Ekstrak Buah Pala (Myrisca Fragrans Houtt) Terhadap Fungsi Pankreas Dan Gambaran Hispatologi Pankreas Tikus Putih Galur Wistar Jantan Yang Mengalami Diabetes Melitus

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak buah pala (Myristica fragrans Houtt) terhadap fungsi pankreas dan gambaran histopatologi pankreas pada tikus putih galur Wistar jantan yang mengalami diabetes melitus. Diabetes melitus dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada pankreas yang berpengaruh terhadap fungsi insulin dan metabolisme tubuh. Dalam penelitian ini, tikus diabetes diberi perlakuan dengan ekstrak buah pala pada dosis tertentu selama periode tertentu. Fungsi pankreas diukur melalui kadar glukosa darah, sedangkan gambaran histopatologi pankreas dianalisis menggunakan preparat jaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak buah pala dapat meningkatkan fungsi pankreas dengan menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dan memperbaiki kondisi histopatologi pankreas yang rusak akibat diabetes melitus. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak buah pala berpotensi sebagai terapi tambahan untuk memperbaiki kerusakan pankreas pada penderita diabetes melitus.
